Deepak Bhatt

Born and raised in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, India, I’m Deepak Bhatt, a professional commercial photographer and cinematographer based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

With over a decade of experience, I specialize in automotive photography, light painting, portraits, food photography, and product photography, creating striking visuals that highlight the craftsmanship and essence of every subject.

My journey started in high school as a passion that soon evolved into a profession, supported by a Bachelor’s degree in Media & Mass Communication.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work on both national and international projects, including the Tokyo Motor Show 2019 and the Saudi-Japan Vision 2030 Ministerial Meeting in Tokyo.

In addition to my photography work, I create Instagram reels for businesses, helping brands elevate their presence online with engaging, high-quality content. I am also highly skilled in Photoshop, using advanced techniques to enhance my images and deliver precise, high-quality results. Whether it’s a luxury car, a gourmet dish, or dynamic commercial content, I focus on precision lighting and storytelling to create images that stand out.

My ability to manipulate light allows me to bring depth and emotion to every frame, ensuring each image tells a compelling story.

Pricing

The price depends on the type of photos you are looking for and their purpose. It is QUALITY over quantity, hence kindly do not ask the number of photos I can shoot per hour.

Prices are different for individual clients and/or for commercial purpose, therefore, please contact me directly in order to obtain a quote.

I emphasize more on post production and photo editing, which takes much more time than the photoshoot itself, especially when it comes to portrait photography (headshots) - My pricing includes both the photoshoot, and professional photo editing.

What are you paying for

My prices include high end magazine quality photo retouching. Beside being a photographer, I am also a professional photo retoucher.

Each photo that I take is edited and treated individually, I do not use any presets or easy-and-fast editing techniques that often ruin photo quality and also make all of them look identical. Some portraits, especially closed-up ones can easily take up to 2hrs. And to give you an estimate, a 3hrs photoshoot could result into 20 to 25 hours of photo editing. Sometimes I provide multiple versions of one photo, especially colored and black-and-white versions.

High end photo editing

I treat every single photo that leaves my studio as artwork, and I might even edit a single photo multiple times to see which result I like the best and which mood suits the picture perfectly. For me, taking a photo is only a part of the creative process. Some clients (especially performers, actors, models) often require realistic and not artistic edits. Those take similar amount of time to edit but the editing follows a different path.

If you need natural edits, No problem! But, it also does not mean that such photo cannot be artistic.
